Wanting Less, Choosing Better: How I Started Curating a More Soulful Life

The older I get, and the deeper I go into understanding myself as a woman, the more I realize how much of my desire has been borrowed.

Content, people, popularity, trends, celebrity… they all have a way of creeping in and shaping what I think I want. And when I slow down and really ask myself what actually makes me feel good? It is rarely any of those things.

So I started interrogating my own taste.
What do I like?
Why do I like it?
How does it feel on my skin, in my space, in my energy?

Now, when I buy something, it is not on autopilot. It is a question.
Do I want this, or have I been trained to want it?

Sometimes the popular thing is popular because it is good. It works well. It looks great. And sometimes I want it because I have seen it seventeen times on a feed and my brain mistakes that for meaning.

This space, Soulfully Curated, is me peeling that back. It is about uncovering what I actually want, love, need, and yearn for. It is about being willing to splurge when something truly makes my life better, but only on my terms.

Better does not just mean expensive. It means:

  • Aesthetically better
  • Spiritually better
  • Logically better
  • Emotionally better
  • Functionally better

All of that is self-care. But this is not just a space for buying things.
It is about rituals.
It is about the content I choose to consume.
The hacks that make my day gentler.
The mindset shifts that bring me back to myself.

Living better, not just prettier.
Living optimally, not performatively.
Living with curiosity, grace, and very good pajamas.
